Geological Field Sketching Workshop – Virtual Zoom Workshop

Emma Theresa Jude, a practicing fine artist and geologist, will demonstrate how simple drawing techniques taught in fine art classical traditions can improve field sketching confidence and accuracy. This online workshop will look at tricks and techniques for improving field sketching. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners and non-artists. It will include exercises for participants to draw along with and include a Q&A/discussion session. A short talk on the influence of geology on the practice of a number of 20th-century and contemporary artists will close the session.
