Whilst we cannot host GASS2020 as planned this year we think it appropriate to celebrate past events by sharing a selection of GASS prize winners from 2017-2019, as well as Iain Stewart’s Keynote lecture from 2018.
GASS presents a unique opportunity for geology students to share their research with their peers, professional and amateur geologists in the prestigious surroundings of Burlington House.
Given the currently unfolding COVID-19 pandemic, current government advice and the closure of the Geological Society premises at Burlington House we have reluctantly decided it is not feasible to reschedule GASS2020 for later this year. This is not a decision we have come to lightly, but the safety and health of all attendees and participants is our foremost concern.
GASS will be back on Friday 21 May 2021, so make a note in your diaries and register your interest here.
If you have any questions regarding GASS 2021, please get in touch at: email@example.com.
Thank you for understanding – keep safe and best wishes,
GASS 2020 Convening Committee
