Meetings Award

For Meetings attendance (members only)

The GA Meetings Award is available to all members of at least one year's standing and student members who are GA members by the time of application. The fund is to assist attendance at conferences and field meetings. Priority will be given to those with limited alternative sources of funding, to GA-sponsored conferences and field meetings, and to those making presentations (paper or poster) at meetings or conferences.

Applications from students must be accompanied by a letter of support from their supervisor. Grants are normally for sums up to £250. Successful applicants will be required to provide a brief statement of expenditure and activities undertaken within 3 months after the event has taken place.

Completed application forms should be submitted as hard copies and/or electronically to Mrs Sarah Stafford, the Geologists’ Association, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1V 9AG
